Meet the Team
Our Principal Engineer is Leon Rowlands. Leon is an Environmental Engineer (BE Env Eng Hons) with over 20 years experience and is a Registered Professional Engineer (RPEQ Civil) and Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC). Leon loves water sports and has also been a prolific cycle-tourist.
Switchback Consulting takes its name by combining these passions – referring to both the winding bends of waterways and from the 48 switchback turns it takes to climb the Stelvio Pass in Italy. The name represents hard work and achievement while also having fun!
